Stupendous Sunday!

Man! Our Sunday was so great!  Hubbs and I have really been praying hard for some blessings that we need. It seemed like the whole day was just an answer to our prayers … well in a way. What we are waiting to receive isn’t here yet, but what we were given was wonderful. Heavenly Father taught us today that as long as we are doing what we need to, we don’t need to worry.

3 Nephi 13:31-34 says:

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.  Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.”

I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me.  I know that as long as we do all we can to better ourselves and keep his commandments then he will provide all that we need.  Some times we think we need something now, sometimes we can’t understand why we haven’t gotten it, what we need to understand is that God’s plan is perfect.  It will always be the better path to follow.

  1. Hope you don’t mind that I comment on your blog *all the time * but I like that you are open in expressing and sharing, so my comment to you is what our ward has been emphasizing, “the Lord’s plan for us is nothing like our plan for ourselves, but is always infinitely better. ” This is a whole series of topics I love based on your post, thank you for sharing your story and courage.
